Family Home Evening

Here are some great recipes to enjoy on Family Home Evening

Chicken Enchilada Soup

 1 can (11ounces) condensed Fiesta

Nacho Cheese soup

2 cans Cream of Chicken Soup

2 cups milk

1 lb. cooked chopped chicken

1 can (10 ounce) enchilada sauce

2 cups of shredded Monterey Jack cheese

Combine on the stove and cook for 20 minutes.


Serve with Quesadillas.

Quesadillas can be filled with cheese, beans, sautéed vegetables, chicken, pork or beef


A Favorite Christmas Dessert

Peppermint Bars


1 (16.5-ounce) package of refrigerated

ready-to-bake sugar cookie dough

1 cup miniature marshmallows

1/3 cup white chocolate chips

1/3 cup crushed hard peppermint candies


Preheat oven to 350*

Spray a 9X9 inch pan with cooking spray

Press cookie dough into

bottom of the prepared pan

Bake 18-20 minutes.

Remove from oven and immediately

sprinkle marshmallows and

white chocolate chips

Bake for 3-4 minutes longer or until marshmallows are puffed.

Sprinkle with crushed candy

Let cool for 1 hour
